3 weeks pregnant symptoms and signs

Most likely to happen, at this stage you will not know that you are pregnant, but your body will. For starters, you may experience some light vaginal bleeding when your egg implants, which many women mistake for a period. This is because of spotting as your egg is implanted by itself into the uterine wall and its very light like pinkish or light brown in color. As one of the first signs of pregnancy, it will be lighter than a normal period and a sign of this implantation is mild abdominal cramping. These cramps are usually mild and brief at this time and last no longer than 2 days. Moreover, during this week, your body starts producing the hormone HCG which can be now detected by home pregnancy tests in your urine. These are just some early signs of being 3 weeks pregnant.

Moreover after these initial signs of implantation, there are several early pregnancy symptoms to expect during the 3rd week. It’s normal to undergo the effects of pregnancy hormones this week, even though your period isn’t missed yet.

Elevated body temperature is a universal symptom during this week of pregnancy. The trick is to track your basal body temperature and if it has considerably stayed high exceeding 15 days in a row, it can be a good sign that you’re pregnant. Along with that you’ll feel somewhat nauseous straight away, which is another common pregnancy symptom at early times. At extremes some women experience both nausea and vomiting. Another teaser of a symptom is urinary frequency; it’s safer to say that you’re going to use the washroom more often for urinating more frequently than ever! You’ll often feel bloated, the sense of a feeling that’ll be similar to when you have your menstrual cycle. Fatigue is another common sign of being 3 weeks pregnant. You’ll start feeling weary and somnolent regularly and it will last throughout your first trimester. Also your breasts will feel more tender and swollen. They would be increasingly sensitive to touch now, as early pregnancy breasts tend to be 10 times more uncomfortable than they use to be before menstruation. 3 weeks pregnant abortion

You’re 3 weeks pregnant and you don’t want it? What were the reasons for this? Unprotected sex (no use of contraceptives) can be one such cause. First ask yourself do you really want an abortion? Wait a minute and rethink about it as abortions aren’t as simple as you think. Abortions of any kind can sometimes cause physical complications leading to problems with future pregnancies such as miscarriages more likely to happen. Common side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and unnecessary bleeding can last up to a period of 2 months or so. Moreover emotionally, a lot of real guilt and shame often can come with an abortion making it the reason for ending many relationships. However, despite all this, if you’re still convinced that this is your last option, and then we tell you about the two relatively safest and simplest possibilities, one is the aspiration method which is probably the simplest, quickest of the two procedures available at this stage of pregnancy. Only one short visit to the clinic and it’s done. As this method involves suction to remove the tissue from the uterus, it can be done either by hand using a tool somewhat like a large syringe or by machine vacuum. This method is considered 98-99% effective with minimal side effects.

The 2nd method is the medication known as the abortion pill. Again like the aspiration method, this does not involve cutting or require full anesthesia, hence being safer. Being 3 weeks pregnant you can choose the abortion pill also known as mifeprex, mifepristone, RU486. It’s a two-step process, with the first step you’ll be given a pill of mifepristone to take while you are at the office and be sent home with misoprostol to use subsequently within the next 24-48 hours, this second medication becomes the reason of your uterine cramping and the pregnancy will be expelled respectively. This method is 97-98% effective at the time. However you may experience some side effects such as severe cramping and passing clots of various sizes. You should avoid this method if you have anemia or bleeding disorders as you can expect to bleed for 9-16 days after the abortion procedure is complete. Due Date Calculator

There is no such thing as an exact due date calculator, as every pregnancy is unique. Your baby will come when it’s ready. However, you can have a rough estimate at this time by adding 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period assuming it to be a 28-day cycle. An important point to be noted is that your menstrual period and ovulation are counted as the first 2 weeks of pregnancy, so if you deliver on your estimated due date, your baby is 38 weeks old instead of 40.

A normal pregnancy can last anywhere between 38 and 42 weeks. Talking about the accuracy of due date calculate, only 5% of births take place exactly on the estimated due date. Most are born within a week either side of the estimated due date, so again it’s just something to give you a rough idea.
